This single story building in the new Queensgate development of Richland was designed to handle future expansion of Yakima Federal Savings & Loan’s services in the area. This building provides full banking services with a lobby, teller line, new accounts desk, and drive thru. Amenities include a check writing station, coffee bar, and comfortable seating in the waiting area. Also included is a suite of offices, employee support spaces, and vault.

In an effort to support YFSL’s push to update their branding, the building is clad with a modern palette of materials, including wood veneer siding, split-face stone, and metal panels. The lobby and teller line mirror the exterior color and materials choices, while high clerestory windows bring ample daylight into the building. Glass walls looking into the offices provide a feeling of open connectedness throughout the publicly facing spaces. A carefully coordinated array of unique light fixtures provide a refined touch at the teller line, waiting area, and coffee bar.
