Concord ConstructionAn addition was constructed on the west face of the Raymond Hall for the purpose of providing an appropriate entry to a multi-functional building and to provide a substantial increase in the study space available to the Library. The new construction also provided new accessible restrooms.
The First Floor renovation reorganized the functions of the Library. The location of the book stacks was changed, the shelving replaced and the capacity increased. The circulation desk and staff work areas were enlarged and consolidated to the south side of the building.
The renovated Library offers students a variety of options for studying. Areas have been set aside for quiet study, group study and, on the Second Floor, individual study rooms may be scheduled by individuals and groups.
