The Selah Public Works Facility features a 12,600 square foot pre-engineered structure housing large vehicle storage bays, maintenance bays, a wash bay, a welding bay, storage, and the Water Department maintenance and testing area. In addition, a storage mezzanine was constructed which is accessible from both the vehicle bays as well as the exterior. The metal building is joined to a wood framed structure containing administration offices for the Public Works, City Planning and Building Departments. One of the key spaces within the administration building is the Emergency Operations Center, giving the city a central location for emergency responders to meet during a crisis. A 5,200 square foot material storage building shares the site to allow the city to store necessary materials in close proximity to the Public Works Complex.
