Palmer Martin Hall was constructed to replace four existing obsolete and inefficient buildings on the YVC Yakima Campus. The building houses the Art, Modern Language, Early Childhood Education and Speech/Communication Departments. The first floor has four art studios, a digital art/language lab, an art appreciation classroom, and a wing housing a faculty office suite. Also located on the first floor, is a Gallery for the display of art produced by the students and faculty. The second floor houses nine classrooms, a public speaking room/lecture hall, a speech/A.S.L. Lab and a seminar room. There are multiple study and gathering spaces provided throughout the building on both floors.
