The new Growing Hope: Child & Family Development Center was constructed to allow much needed expansion of infant and toddler classrooms for Catholic Charities’ growing early learning programs. Two infant rooms and three toddler rooms join with three preschool rooms in the new 16,750 square foot facility. The new space also contains a central kitchen, which will serve both the Growing Hope Center and adjacent Carroll Children’s Center, as well as staff training room and program offices. Age appropriate playgrounds, in both the front and back of the building, were designed to help facilitate learning and gross motor skills development for children aged 1 month to 5 years. The use of bold colors and geometric designs throughout helps stimulate young minds, provides a pleasant working environment for staff, and brightens the day of parents when delivering and collecting their children.
