Brown Dental Hygiene Clinic: Yakima Valley College

The Brown Dental Hygiene Building Renovation was undertaken by Yakima Valley College in an effort to increase the size and sophistication of the facility in order to keep pace with the growing enrollment demands and the technologies being used in the dental field. The project has increased the building area by 7,380 square feet and is providing six (6) additional positions within each year of the program. The teaching clinic has been “right-sized” to provide optimal workspace for students and instructors as well as including all new dental equipment.

The instructional spaces include four clinic Bays with six chairs each, a Classroom/Laboratory, Lab Support, Processor Room, four X-Ray Rooms and a state-of-the-art Sterilization Room. The building is supported by a large Waiting Room, Reception/Check-In/Check-Out Desk, Faculty Offices, a Conference Room, Locker Rooms and a Student Study Area.
