Workforce Education Center
Grandview Campus
The Workforce Education Center was constructed on the Grandview Campus of Yakima Valley Community College in the location of a former grocery store. The project has significantly increased the size of the Campus as well as enhancing downtown Grandview. The facility houses the Allied Health Program and the Vineyard and Winery Technology Program.
The Allied Health Program instructional spaces include an interactive Lab that provides specially designed teaching environments for pharmacy technology, medical billing and coding, medical assisting and surgical assisting to name a few.
The Vineyard and Winery Technology Program is supported by instructional spaces including a Teaching Winery, Laboratory, Barrel Storage Room, Crush Pad and Tasting Room. The facility also houses two incubator spaces which the College leases to start up wineries which in turn can receive assistance from program staff.
